Mundane objects, cheaply made and mass produced, are items found in modern households. I sew into and collage these items onto paper creating domestic landscapes. Although personal associations with contemporary objects are important, one sees the aesthetic beauty of the objects, overlooking material value, and kitsch-like irony. Objects are transformed, though their inherent properties or "identity" is not altered.
